DESCHENE, Harriet (née Olive) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Saturday, July 27, 2002 at the age of 68 years. Daughter of the late Harry Olive and of the late Theresa Charron. Dear wife of the late Frederick Deschene, predeceased in March of 1998. Loving mother of Christine MacVicar (husband Robert) of Sault-Ste-Marie, Jane Deschene of Sturgeon Falls and Paul Deschene (wife Jan) of Garson. Predeceased by 1 daughter, Anna-Marie. Dear sister of James Olive (wife Bertha) and Peter Olive (wife Sandy) both of Sault-Ste-Marie, Winston Olive (wife Paulette) of Levack, Pat Olive (wife Elaine), Florence Asselin (husband Rolly) and Billie Bois (husband Robert) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Charles Olive and Harry Olive (wife Nora of Schreiber). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Valerie and Sarah MacVicar of Sault-Ste-Marie and Abby Deschene of Garson. G.G. of Calem. Harriet was a retired sales clerk from Zellers / K-Mart. Her family was her pride and joy. She also had a great passion for gardening and cooking. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. East, (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday, from 2-5 p.m. and from 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, August 2nd, 2002, at 10 a.m., in St. John the Evangelist Church, Garson.
