COONEY, Beulah Lorna (nee McMain) In loving memory of Beulah Lorna (nee McMain) Cooney, 76 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Monday evening, August 5th, 2002 at the Extendicare-Falconbridge, Sudbury. Born in Sudbury, she married George "Mel" Cooney in 1945 in Sudbury. A long time Sudbury resident she had worked at Wajax for many years retiring in 1979. An artistic person she enjoyed ceramics. Beulah will be remembered for her wonderful smile and calming influence on others. She was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of George "Mel" Cooney of Sudbury. Loving mother of Edward "Ted" (wife Robin) of Montreal, Michael "Mickey" (companion Anne Marie Della Vedova) of Copper Cliff and Joanne Boivin (husband Jerry) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Raewyn (husband Andrew), Chris (wife Allison), Ryan (friend Emily), Josh, Jodi and Joel. Dear daughter of Ed and Emma McMain predeceased. Dear sister of Muriel Punch predeceased. Loving aunt of Joanne Derks of Sudbury and Janet Vizena (husband Jerry) of Ottawa. Special cousin to Ernice Warder of Haliburton. Special thanks to the 4th Floor Staff at Extendicare-Flaconbridge for their excellent care and support. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury on Friday, August 9th, 2002 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
