METE, Antonio In loving memory of Antonio Mete, 71 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Tuesday morning, August 6th, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Born in Nicastro Lamezia Terme Italy, he married Maria (Sacco) in Italy in 1955. Antonio came to Sudbury in 1962 from Italy. He was a Roman Catholic who belonged to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Antonio was a janitor at Network North at the Algoma Site having 34 years service retiring in 1988. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was an avid gardener. Antonio was devoted to his loving family especially his grandchildren. Beloved husband of Maria (Sacco) Mete of Sudbury. Loving father of Vincent "Vinny" predeceased 1988 and Cathy (husband Salah Ali) of Sudbury. Cherished Nanno of Adam and Alisha. Dear son of Vincenzo and Caterina Mete predeceased. Dear brother of Angelina Mior of Sudbury, Santo and Franco both predeceased, Maria and Carolina both in Italy. Special brother in law of Antonietta Mete and Rosina Mazzanti both of Sudbury and Domenico Sacco of Italy. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 591 Brennan Rd., Sudbury on Thursday, August 8th, 2002 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Prayers 3 p.m. Wednesday.
