Lloyd A. Fraser Lloyd A. Fraser, 78, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Harcourt passed away at his residence on Wednesday January 9, 2002. Born in Bryants Corner, he was the son of the late David and Janie (Young) Fraser. Lloyd was former Fire Chief of the Harcourt Fire Department, member of Harcourt Legion Branch #75, The Adopted Veteran of Harcourt Legion Branch #75 Ladies Auxillary, Veteran of Second World War, served overseas with the First Anti Tank Regiment Canadian Army. Lloyd is survived by his sister, Reta Fraser, Moncton; brothers, Warren (Myra), Moncton, Robert (Joyce), Riverview, John (Pat), Lutes Mountain; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Lela, Betty; brothers, Walter, Ralph, Harris, Ron, David, Melbourne. No visitation by personal request. Harcourt Legion Branch #75 Veteran's Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Saturday, January 12, 2002, 2pm followed by funeral service. Rev. John Pierce officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery, Brown's Yard.
