SLEETH, MRS. ELAINE A. - Mrs. Elaine A. Sleeth of 219 Ellerdale St. E., wife of Mr. Carl Sleeth, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on January 14, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Letete, N.B., January 3, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Claude and Hilda (Tucker) Mitchell. She is predeceased by sisters Francis and Kathleen, and brother Arthur. She is survived by sisters Helen, Ruth, Madeline and Joyce and brother Douglas. She was a lifelong member of the Progressive Conservative Association. She will be greatly missed by many close family and friends. Everyone who ever met Elaine loved her. She had a gentle spirit, a giving heart and a strong faith in God. She fought her battle with heart, lung and kidney disease as only she could, strong and valiant to the end. At Elaine's request there will be no visitation or service at this time. Remembrances to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family or to any charity of the donors choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424).
