LACHAPELLE, Exilia (nee Philippe), 1915-2002 - In loving memory of Exilia Lachapelle who passed away at the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake, on Monday, May 20, 2002 at the age of 87. Cherished wife of David Lachapelle. Left to treasure her memory are her children; Joseph (Pauline) of Ottawa, Marie-Rose Huff (friend Les) of Elliot Lake, Laurence (friend Frank) of Geraldton, Denise Sevigny (Claude) of St. Charles, Victor (Fay) of Jocko Point, Armand (Nicole) of Verner, Roger (Monique) of Verner and Aime of Cache Bay. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 43 grandchildren, and 65 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Cecile Cayen of Timmins, Yvonne Gagnon of Sturgeon Falls, Aima Lachance of Levack, Aime (Olivine) of Cache Bay, Wilfred (Denise) of Sturgeon Falls and Lucien (Ruby) of Utah. Predeceased by her parents Gilles and Rose-Alba Philippe, by her sons; Fern and Maurice, and by her brothers; Edward, Oscar, Emile, Aurele and Roland. Family receiving friends at the Theoret Funeral Home in Verner, today May 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Reverend Jean Legault will celebrate the funeral mass at the St. Jean de Baptiste Church, Verner on Thursday, May 23rd at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
