GROULX, Beatrice (Lafontaine) 1916 - 2002 - Diedpeacefully in her sleep, Sunday, October 27th. Left to treasure her memory is her devoted husband, Rene "Buck" and her children, Betty Shisko of Elliot Lake and Maurice (Della) of North Bay. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Danny Shisko (Susan), Wingham, Christine Hamilton (Robert), Michael and Judy Shisko all of Elliot Lake, Debbie Krawec, Barrie and Cathy Bisson (James), Mississauga and seven great-grandchildren. Beatrice is survived by a sister, Malvina Brennan (Ted, deceased), Toronto, sisters-in-law Jean (Herman, deceased), and Irene (Pat, deceased), both of North Bay, Helen (Fred, deceased), Timmins, and GilBerte (Dave, deceased), Montreal. They will remember the good times they all enjoyed together. Predeceased by her parents, Geramie and Virginia Lafontaine, a brother, Harry (Dorothy, deceased) and two sisters, Yvonne Mercier (Jim deceased) and Alma Lauzon (Ezeb, deceased). Also left to mourn are Dad’s family, Mary-Ange Beauchamp, Timmins, Dora Robinson, Toronto, Herman Groulx (Marie), Timmins, and Manuel Silveira, North Bay. She will also be dearly remembered by several nieces and nephews. We are following Mom’s wishes for her to be cremated and buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Donations to Cassellholme for their wonderful and compassionate care of Mom would be appreciated. Funeral services under the direction of McGuinty Funeral Home. We love you and will always remember!
