HEIKKILA, Tuure Tapio The family announces with great sorrow his death in Surrey, at the age of 80 years. Born in Finland, June 30, 1922 he came to Sudbury in 1952. During the last four years his daughter and her family have had the cherished honour of sharing their home with Tuure in Surrey, B.C. Tuure was a hardworking and dedicated family man enjoying his spare time at the summer camp. He is predeceased by his wife, Toini (Oct. 1997) and lovingly remembered by his son Raimo (Geri Docksteader); daughter Irene (Al) Turner; grandchildren Hanna and Ria Turner and Shelley Ann (Guy Noel) Routhier; great grandchildren Jeremie and Demetri Noel. No service by his request. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Sudbury. 8/31/2002- ID781810 - Sudbury Star
