KOSKI, Aatos "Otto" Veiko November 8, 1935 - September 1, 2002. Otto will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife, Rita, his daughter Miali, of Toronto and her two children, Connor and Hadley, and his son Michael (Mick) and wife Annette and their boys, Joseph and Jack, of St. Albert, Alberta, his sisters, Kerttu Huhtala and Rauha Korkiakoski in Finland, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Sauli of Sudbury, Ossi and Jussi, of Finland. Otto raised his family in Northern Ontario, and in 1976, he moved to Alberta and later met Rita Burbulevicius. They married in 1985 and moved to Victoria in 1991. Otto’s career in the pipeline industry took him to all four coasts of North America. Otto was wise, grounded, respected and a charitable man. His talents were many. He was an avid outdoorsman. His personal Mecca became a beautiful piece of heaven and a log cabin lovingly referred to as the "Kamp" on Ministic Lake, north of Sudbury. He celebrated life and lived happily. The celebration of Otto’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7th, 2002 at the Cowichan (Quw’utsun’) Cultural and Conference Centre, 200 Cowichan Way, Duncan, BC, V9L 6P4.
