With courage and strength, Lloyd Baxter passed away at home in his fifty-fourth year after a 17 year struggle. Sadly missed by his partner Kathleen Burton. Survived by his son Sean and mother Alice Baxter. Lloyd was a loving step-father to Dina and her husband Brian, Alexis and her husband Chris, and to Matthew. Dearest step grandfather - Papa Lloyd to Cole. Loving brother to Gail, Shirley and her husband Wayne, Darlene and her husband Malcolm. Will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 14, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Westview Funeral Chapel 709 Wonderland Road North (two blocks north of Oxford street), London, Ontario. The funeral will be held at the funeral chapel on Friday February 15 at 5 p.m. with cremation at a later date. Donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. A special thanks to Frank Butterworth for looking out for Lloyd over the years and to friends Deirdre and David for their ongoing support and laughter during the hard times.
