Suddenly but peacefully at home, Nepean, on Tuesday afternoon, January 1, 2002 at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Traudy (nee Budau). Dearly loved Dad of Mark Emond and his wife Sue of Kanata. Dear son of Mrs. Edith Emond (nee Nevins) of Rockland and of the late Fernand Emond. Dear brother of Joan Lamoureux (Gaetan), Jean Emond, Peggy Bergeron (George), Russell Emond (Margo), Ross Emond (Sylvie) and Donald Emond (Pat). Dear brother-in-law of Madeleine Emond (late Robert). John will be fondly remembered by his many relatives in the Budau family. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) Ottawa on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Apostle Church, Nepean on Saturday morning, January 5, 2002 at 10:30.
