Peacefully at home on Thursday, January 3, 2001 at the age of eighty-nine. Beloved husband of the late Salima Ben-Shaoul. Devoted father and father-in-law of Sylvia and Albert Shahin, Alice and the late Naim Dabora, Amal and Saul Hardoon, Ferial Akairib and Meir Akairib. Cherished Baba of Rita and Alan Esser, Mike and Gail Shahin, Emil and Emily Dabora, Karen and Robert Silver and Mark Hardoon. Loving great-grandfather of Adrian, Kayla and Daniel. He will be deeply and sadly missed by the nieces, nephews, cousins and friends he leaves behind.
