Peacefully at the Woodland Villa Nursing Home, Long Sault on Saturday, January 5, 2002, Nora Larsen (nee Kirker), formerly of Williamsburg, in her 93rd year. Loving wife of the late George Larsen. Loving mother of Georgie (Ronald) McFarland of Vernon, B.C. and Ray (Lana) of R.R. #1 Finch. Predeceased by sisters Della Clark, Blanch Effemy, Ina Derouchie, brothers George and Albert and a grandson Gerald McFarland. Nora will be sadly missed by grandchildren Dan Larsen, Whisler, B.C., Les McFarland, Calgary, Alberta, Karen Bainas, Chilliwack, B.C. and Sharon Madsen, Abbotsford, B.C. and by several great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations to Winchester Hospital or the Alzheimer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
