Peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 6, 2002 in his 72nd year. Red Drummond of 3 Florence Street, Petawawa husband of Dorothy Drummond (nee Tankard). Dear father of Beverley McDonald (husband Bill), Sydenham; Diane Wiens (husband Robert), Ottawa; Billy (wife Colleen), Renfrew; Danny (wife Lucy), Seeley's Bay; and Rhonda Drummond (Tony Nephin), Petawawa. Predeceased by his son Blaine. Survived by daughter-in-law Carmen Drummond. Grandfather to Tara, Travis and David; David, Suzie, Robert and William; Jason and Phillip; Scott, Mark and Jamie; Sean, Michael and William; and Lori, Sherry Ann and Robert. Great-grandfather to Kaylee, Dillon, Page, Sarah and Anthony. Predeceased by brothers Dave and Robert; sister Ursula Walsh and an infant sister. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late David and Elizabeth Drummond. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Petawawa on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery.
