Peacefully on January 7, 2002 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Nepean. Well known 16 year devoted volunteer of Queensway Carleton Hospital, active member of community associations in every city in which she lived, established and nurtured Neighbourhood Watch programs in Nepean, St. John's, Newfoundland, and Moncton, New Brunswick, generous to a fault with all she knew. Survived by husband Robert Harley and sons Glenn and Gary (Nancy), grandchildren Alexandra, Nicholas, Conlan and Kayne; brother Ronald (Lesley); predeceased by sisters Clara, Viola, Leona and Lucette and brothers Robert and Gilbert. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.), Nepean, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 2 p.m., followed by a reception in the Maple Terrace Room in the funeral home.
