Born in Montreal on August 5, 1920; died peacefully surrounded by family at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver on January 9, 2002. Predeceased by her husband, Harold Boyes in 1988. Kay will be deeply missed by her sister Marjorie Anderson, her daughters Elizabeth (Jack), Victoria, Kathleen, Melissa (Frank) and her grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew, Richard, David, Marc and Philip. Kay will also be missed by the many friends she made throughout her lifetime, especially those she worked with at the Montreal Children's Hospital. A private service will be held for family only. The family would like to thank the kind and loving staff of the Youville Residence where Kay lived for the past two years. The Montreal Gazette, 11-01-2002
