Peacefully in hospital in Renfrew on Friday January 11, 2002, John Howard, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Norma Leeck of Renfrew. Son of the late Gordon and Hazel Howard. Dear father of Ruth Skof (Walter), Nancy Martin, Gary, Judy Benak (Tom) all of Ottawa, and Jane (Doug) Brunning of Calgary, Alta. Survived by sisters Betty Gutz of Cobden, Patsy Scheideman (Charles) of Saanichton, B.C., and brother David (Edna) of Renfrew. Predeceased by brother James (Marjorie) of Ottawa. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jessica, Eric, Krystal, Ryan, Adam, Sean, Jordon, Nathan, Kyle and Graham. Funeral Monday to St. James Lutheran Church for service at 2 p.m. Interment Rosebank Cemetery in the spring.
