Born May 14, 1952 (in Newfoundland) and died January 11, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Barb died as she lived - surrounded by family and dear friends. She is survived by 8 sisters and brothers. A private cremation service has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held Quinn's Ale House, 1070 Bank Street, Sunday, January 13th from 2 to 4 p.m. Barb lived her life to the fullest and was a great friend to so many. Special thanks to her doctors and medical staff of the 5th floor Ottawa General Campus - especially Heather - for your care and compassion. Donations to Shepherds of Good Hope would be welcomed.
