Retired Canadian Government Photocentre - N.F.B. After a courageous battle with lung cancer on Friday, January 11, 2002, Don in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Velma (nee Auger). Dearly loved father to Todd and loving father-in-law to Julie. Dear brother-in-law to Pauline Kirchin. Predeceased by his infant son Shawn on January 11, 1969. Sadly missed by many friends and family. Family will receive friends at the Pinecrest Cemetery Visitation Centre, (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Wednesday, January 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 17 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Pinecrest Chapel at 3 p.m. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Palliative Unit, Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre and the visiting nurses of St. Elisabeth Health Centre.
