Peacefully in hospital at Hawkesbury while surrounded by family on Thursday morning, January 17, 2002. Marguerite Eveline Lemieux, formerly of Arnprior, at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Louis Lemieux (1986), formerly of Arnprior. Adored and faithful companion of Rolland Vezeau of Hawkesbury. Dearly loved mother of Gilles Lemieux (Faye) of Hawkesbury, Michel Lemieux (Phyllis) of Calabogie, Alain Lemieux (Phoeme) of Ottawa, Louise Lemieux (Daniel Clairoux) of Grenville, P.Q., Linda Fraser (Jim) and Danielle Lemieux (Tracy Wilkinson), both of Arnprior. Predeceased by her son, Marcel (1969). Dear sister of Jean Laitre (Lorette), Norman Laitre (Sylvie) and Rose Germain, all of Val d'Or, P.Q., Leon Laitre of Sault Ste. Marie and Hector Laitre (Rollande) of Calgary. Predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Jacques Laitre, as well as a sister, Marie-Anne Desaliers. Cherished "Nanny" of 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior, on Saturday, January 19, at 12 o'clock noon. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery.
