O.B.E. Born in Felixstowe, Suffolk, England on 7 June, 1920, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2002, in Ottawa, Ontario after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband for 58 years of Patricia. Dear father of Nigel and Chris (Jane) Lythgo, and grandfather to Christopher, Paul and Jennifer. Lyn served in the British and Indian Armies during World War II in Europe, India and Persia, followed by a distinguished career in the British Civil Service and the British Diplomatic Service.
