Suddenly at the Pembroke General Hospital on Friday January 18, 2002 in his 86th year. Leo Gervais of Pembroke and formerly of Lapasse beloved husband of Laurence Y. (nee Boisvert) Gervais. Loving father of Lucy Sullivan (George) and Lyola Gervais (Norma) both of Pembroke. Predeceased by son Lionel and daughter Celina Yuill (Jim). Loving grandfather of Michael Sullivan, Dr. Colleen Sullivan (Andrew Dunlop), Sharon Hovland (Jeff) of Austin Minn. and Timothy Gervais. Predeceased by granddaughter Lynn Gervais. Dear brother of James Gervais (Rolande) of Pembroke and Maurice Gervais (late Lillian) of Lapasse. Son of the late Thomas and Celina (nee Labine) Gervais. Predeceased by brothers Thomas, Frank and Emile Gervais and sisters Nora Herman, Iona Cahill and Eva Gervais. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 296 Isabella Street Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday after 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Pembroke, on Monday January 21 at 11 o'clock. Interment in the spring in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lapasse.
