Canadian Veteran Korean War Peacefully at the Pembroke General Hospital on Friday January 18, 2002 in his 74th year. Donald Kallies of Petawawa, beloved husband of Katsuko (nee Nagase) Kallies. Loving father of Linda Meloche (Peter), Arnprior; Doreen Lamirande (Gerry), Ottawa; Brenda Weibe (Rob), Vancouver Island; Flora Kallies, Ottawa and Daniel Kallies (Gabriella), Ottawa. Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Jeremy, Michelle, Paul, Jessica, Brigette, Michael, Bryan, Sarah Ann and the late Melanie. Brother of Hattie Poulin, Leonard Kallies, Alfred Kallies and Doris Wall. Predeceased by brothers Walter, Clifford and sister Viola Kallies. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday after 10 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday morning January 22 at 11 o'clock with Pastor Orlen Lapp officiating. Cremation. The family would like to especially thank all the staff at the Pembroke General Hospital. In memory of Donald, donations to the Pembroke General Hospital C.T.
