Passed away peacefully Sunday, January 20, 2002 at the age of eighty-six years. Survived by her loving family. Sons Dan (Madonna) of Halifax, Bill (Susana) and Ken (Judy) of Kelowna, daughters Roberta (Ronnie) Smith of Montreal, June (Terry) Mahoney of Kelowna, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters Ruby Garrett of Quebec and Bertha Kinsella of Keswick, Ontario and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Robert "Bob" in 1984, son Robert in 1941, brother John Shannon and sister Margaret Macdonnel of Montreal. Dorothy was born June 17, 1915 in Montreal, residing in Rosemere, then Ste. Therese, Que. Until moving to Kelowna in 1968. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Kelowna Chapter #62 and the Rebekah's Lodge #36. The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks to Dr. Pollock and the staff at Cottonwoods Extended Care, unit B.
