Passed away in Halifax on January 21, 2002 in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, at the age of eighty-one. Born in Capelton, Que., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Cotton) Cordy. She was a graduate of Queens University, Kingston, Ont. and McGill University Library School. Most of her working career was spent at McGill and Dalhousie University Libraries. She was a long-time member of St. Andrew's United Church. She is survived by her sister, Ruby Cormier, Montreal; brother, Gilbert Cordy, Vancouver. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 23 in St. Andrew's United Church, Rev. Arlene Riches officiating. The Montreal Gazette, 23-01-2002
