Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge surrounded by his family on Monday, January 21, 2002 in his 87th year. Garnet Edwards of Pembroke, beloved husband of Elsie (nee Maves) Edwards. Dear father of James Edwards (Peggy), Larry Edwards (Colleen), Mary Schizkoske (Percy) and Priscilla Dagg (Kevin) all of Pembroke. Predeceased by infant son Timothy. Loving grandfather of Connie, Tommy, Matthew, Kaylee, Garwin (Sally), Shane, Julie Covell (Shaun), Alex, Crystal, Sheena and Nathan and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Archie Edwards (Idena) and Edith Mulligan (late Frank). Predeceased by brothers James, Ernest, Joseph, Lloyd, Wallace, Herbert, John Gordon and Leonard and by sister Ethel Clark. Son of the late Joseph and Ellen (nee Beaudrie) Edwards. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning, January 24 at 11 o'clock in Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle, Pembroke with Pastor Brian Moss and Pastor William McDowell officiating.
