After a short illness at the Jewish General Hospital on January 21, 2002 at age seventy-four passed away. Beloved wife of Leon Melkonian. Loving mother of Lilian and Armen. Loving grandmother of Ara, Chant and Aline Bengian, and Lisa, Lara and Alex Melkonian. Also survived by her sisters Mary and Josephine and brother Yervant. Visitation on Thursday, January 24, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Sourp Hagop Armenian Church, 3401 Olivar Asselin in Montreal.
