On January 24, 2002 at the age of sixty-five, after a courageous and determined battle against cancer. Beloved wife for over forty years of Roland Tremblay of Valcartier, formerly of Chateauguay, mother and best friend of daughters Lianne (Peter Fenn), Lisa, Lynne, sons Jimmy, Jody, brother David (Cheryl Kack) and many relatives and friends. She fought hard and never gave up. The family will receive relatives and friends on January 26, 2002 at St. Gabriel de Valcartier United Church at 1 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in the Spring when she will be laid to rest with her parents Agnes Lavallee and Wilbur Montgomery. Mom was a wonderful person and will be very sadly missed. Donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The Montreal Gazette, 25-01-2002
