In Toronto, Friday January 25, 2002. Frederick Henry Gardner age 97, former resident of Belmont Ave, Ottawa. Husband of the late Winnifred Archedeacon. Loving father of Beverly (late George Nicholson). Cherished grandfather of Susan Nicholson, Michael Nicholson (Amber), Lesley (Kevin Laidley), Alison (David Hopper) and Cathy Shanahan-Nicholson. Proud great-grandfather of Lange and Carly Nicholson; Michael and Sheila Laidley; Sherry, Christopher and Steven Hopper. Predeceased by a daughter Audrey Gardner. Family and friends may assemble Tuesday at St. Margaret Mary's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
