CDR (Ret'd) Born in High River, Alberta, January 12, 1933. Died January 26, 2002. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lydia (nee Nestoruk); sons Lindsay (Sandra) of Ottawa, Richard of Victoria and grandson Nicholas, of Ottawa. He leaves his dear sister and friend, Yvonne Pullar; nieces Joanne Feeney and Leah Smyth and nephew Tim Pullar, all of Calgary. Michael joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1951, and retired in 1988. He was a graduate of the Royal Roads Military College in Victoria and the Royal Navy Engineering College, Manadon, in Plymouth, England. His two special joys in life were collecting books about the Canadian prairies, and nurturing his rock and alpine garden plants. The cart is yoked before the door And time will let us dance no more. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. The Ottawa Citizen, 02-02-2002
