At the Elisabeth Bruyere Pavilion on Saturday, January 26, 2002, Shirley Saunders aged 77 years. Loving mother of Arnold (Helen M. Wilson) and Gerald Tracey. Dear grandmother of Cailin and Diana. Sister of the late Herbert Saunders Jr. A graduate of Miner Teachers College, Washington D.C., she was with the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Dept. of U.S. Navy. More recently, Shirley retired from the National Library of Canada, Ottawa. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Unitarian Congregation, 30 Cleary Avenue, Ottawa on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 10 a.m. Inurnment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland, U.S.A.
