RICHARDS, Hilda Rose At South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Saturday, December 6, 2008, of Hilda Rose Richards of Summerside and formerly of Kinkora, aged 94 years. Wife of Alexander (Alex) Richards. Born in Hope River, P.E.I., on June 2, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Exavier Doiron and Charlotte (Doiron). Mother of Alvin (Gertie), Ontario; Walter (Pat), Summerside; Cedric (Anita), Charlottetown; Douglas (Judy), Red Deer, Alberta; Charlotte (late Vincent) Gauthier, Charlottetown; Joey (Judy), Summerside; Jimmy (Gloria), Summerside; Carl (Rita) Summerside and Carol (Randy) Smith, Charlottetown. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Delia Doiron and Mary Richards, 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by infant son Avon. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, 21 Somerset St., Kinkora. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 9, at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in parish cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, December 8, from 6-9 p.m. only and Tuesday, December 9, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Donations in Hilda’s memory may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
