Mr. Bruce Leroy George Farnsworth February 16, 1926 - November 02, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Born in Calgary, Alberta February16, 1926--November 2, 2005. Passed away suddenly but peacefully with family present. Predeceased by his first wife Arlene in 1979 and granddaughter Dawne in 2005. He is survived by his loving wife Anna and his dog Holly, children, Betty (Doug), Dale (Vikki), Brent (Donna); grandchildren, Diana, Alison, Kristen, Kent, Tyler and Samantha; step-children, Wendy (Eric), Linda (Bryan), Ian, Laurie (Ian), David, Colin (Angie); step-grandchildren, Thor, Sarah, Sean, Courtney, Christopher; one great-grandchild Abby and other family and friends. Bruce was a pioneer of Richmond for over 50 years and a founding member of the Richmond Congregational Church. A Celebration of his Life to take place on Sunday, November 6, 2005 in the chapel of Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond at 2:00 pm. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Richmond Hosptial Palliative Care for their caregiving and to all his friends for the many happy years of friendship and laughter.
