Marilyn Virginia Clark (née Stewart) August 21, 1950 - November 05, 2005 After a courageous and inspirational 2 1/2 year battle with cancer, Marilyn Clark (Stewart) passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 5th, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Throughout the last two months at home, Marilyn was constantly comforted by the great love of her treasured friends and family. Beloved and devoted wife to Ted Clark. Dear daughter to Edwin (predeceased) and Mary Stewart. Loving mother of Jeff (Tonja) Clark and Julia (Stephan) Tkach. Cherished grandmother to Lily, Sadie and Nelly. Much loved sister to Murray (Faye), Doug, Dave (Linda), Ann (John Scheurwater) and Sheila (Bill) Collins. Beloved daughter-in-law of Don and Elva Clark. Dear sister-in-law to Jim (Mary) Clark. The family would like to thank the many doctors, therapists, and care staff who gave so much to Marilyn through her valiant fight: Dr. Cindy Donaldson, Dr. Bennett, Dr. Summers, Dr. Clark, Dr. McLean, the wonderful staff at Community Care Access Centre and finally Marilyn Wilson and Leigh Rodrigues. Also a special thank you to Rev. Bill Wheeler, Jackie Ryan and friends from the Six Nation Community for all their spiritual support and love. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made in memory of Marilyn Clark to the Strabane United Church Memorial Fund or to Cancer Research. Although we miss Marilyn dearly, we know that she is at peace and at home with the Lord. Marilyn's tireless dedication to her family, friends, and community was her passion and this quilt work of relationships was her most prized possession. We wish to remember Marilyn and her great love of music through these special words: "Sing like there's nobody listening" Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St., N., Waterdown on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held at STRABANE UNITED CHURCH, 1565 Brock Rd., Strabane, on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Brock Rd.
