Remi St. Pierre May 01, 1932 - November 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Melady Funeral Home & Chapel 73 years, on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at WRHC Met. Campus, peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 52 years to Helen (Hammer). Dear father of Bernard St. Pierre, Charlene LeBlanc and Ed, Donna Guilbeault and J.P., Karen Antaya and Brian. Dear son of Raymond and Rita St. Pierre and the late Louise (1987). Dear pépé to Ryan, Renée, Marc, Rachelle, Derrick, Jenna, Teri-Lyn, Craig and Brendan. Dear brother of Marcella Barrette and Jules, Rosaire St. Pierre and Rosella, Charles St. Pierre and Janet, the late Leon (2000) and Shirley St. Pierre. Dear brother-in-law to Theresa Conliffe and Guy, Cecile Hammer, Leo and Agnes Hammer, Lorraine Mailloux and Armand and the late Paul Hammer (2001). Remi was a retiree with Chrysler Transport with 26 years of service. He was also a member of the 3’rd degree and 4’th degree Knights of Columbus Council 2775. Visiting Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9. Funeral procession leaves Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 1:30 pm from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500 to St. Simon & St. Jude Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm. Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Parish prayers Wednesday at 4 pm and K. of C. prayers Wednesday 7 pm. Donations may be made to Windsor Regional Cancer Center or to the Stroke Recovery Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Remi St. Pierre in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held Sept. 24, 2006. All are welcome.
