Mr. Paul Gagnon August 03, 1934 - November 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be. So he wrapped you in his loving arms, and whispered come with me. You suffered much in silence, your spirit did not bend. You faced your pain with courage, until the very end. You tried so hard to stay with us, your fight was all in vain. God took you to His loving home, and freed you from all pain. Paul Gagnon passed away surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Paul's memory will be cherished by his wife and best friend Doreen of 46 years, his daughter Lori, and three sons, Randy (Jodie) of Cobham, England, Darrel (Jane) of Vancouver, and Scott; his grandchildren Nicole and Kayla of England, Glen and Anna of Vancouver. He is also survived by two sisters Suzanne (Harry) Schultz, Rose (Arnold) Rochat, and one brother Pierre, sisters-in-law Gracia Gagnon and Anna Marie Gagnon, brothers-in-law Harvey (Jackie) Alton, Arnold (Donna) Lindgren, as well as numerous members of Paul's and Doreen's families and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Eugene and Ovide. Paul had endless devotion and love for his family and friends, and he will live forever in our hearts and memories. A memorial mass will be held for Paul on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church at 10661-82 Avenue. Donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or to the Grey Nun's Palliative Care Unit.
