Annie Primeau May 10, 1910 - November 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mrs. Annie Primeau, a beautiful mother, friend, full of humour and always at the ready to make you laugh and have fun, aged 95 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away on Friday, November 25, 2005 at Fort William First Nation with her family at her side. Born in English River, daughter of the late Rose and John Wayweshi Penassi. She was a survivor in Residential School in Kenora. Annie met and married Adolphus Primeau in 1928 in Shebandowan. She worked as a midwife for many years during the 1940’s and 1950’s and later was employed as a trapper until she was in her 70’s. Her main interests were family, beadwork and sewing. Annie was a member of St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church. Survived by son Fred Primeau, daughter Evelyn Ogima, son William Primeau (Lisa), son Robert (Joyce), son Paul Primeau, daughter Margaret Penasie (Daniel), daughter Annabelle Bell (Murray) and granddaughter Heather Henderson. Numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by parents, her husband (October 1980), children Dianne, Joseph, Josephine, Maria, Marlene and George, sisters Evelyn, Lucy, Margaret, Rose, Mary and Bessie. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Primeau will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Fort William First Nation, with Rev.
