Henry Anthony McKee October 20, 1924 - November 24, 2005 Funeral arrangements by L. G. Wallace Funeral Home Gone to be with those he loved, Henry (Harry) Anthony McKee passed away on November 24, 2005, at St. Peter's Hospital. Harry was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on October 20, 1924. Beloved husband of Mary, stepfather of Gail Clark (Norm) and Bonnie Scanlan (Joe). Adored Grandpa Harry to Laurie Clark (Paul), Brad Clark, Darren Clark (Lori), Tom Galivan (Charmaine) and Michael Galivan. He found great joy in his two great-grandchildren Trevor and Seamus Galivan. Harry also leaves his sister Bridgid Mahon of Dublin, Ireland and brother Neeley McKee of London, England. Predeceased by brothers Sean, James and Willy and sisters Anne, Eileen and Kathleen of Ireland. Harry leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews in the US and Ireland. A wonderful friend to Kathleen Lovell. He will be missed by his friends Barbara and Jean from Eastgate Mall where he engaged in coffee and conversation every morning. Harry was a 35 year employee of Stelco and a trustee of the United Steelworkers of America. In 1952, he was a founding member of the Irish Canadian Club and was also a member of the British Imperial Club and a member of St. Eugene's Parish for 30 years. Visitation will be held at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Eugene's Parish on Parkdale Ave. on Monday at 11 a.m. Following the mass, a reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus. Burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
