CARNAHAN, LINDA JEAN Linda Carnahan died peacefully at home in Fredericton, New Brunswick on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005. Born on December 11th, 1948 in Doyles Brook, she was the daughter of Jean (Gallan) and the late Alvin Carnahan. Linda especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed many hours with her dogs Oreo and Sandi. Her hobbies included scrap booking, quilting and researching her family history and outdoor activities. Linda was employed at Cox Hanson O'Reilly Matheson Law Firm. Survived by her mother, Jean (Gallan) Carnahan of Fredericton; brothers, Raymond (Shirley) of Fredericton, Royce (Edna) of Dumfries; sisters, Dorothy Irwin (Jim) of Whitehorse, Ella Leslie (John) of Dumfries, Debby Hine (Rick) of Scotch Lake; nieces, Cyndi O'Rourke, Laura Carnahan; nephews, Jason Tapley, Danny, Matthew and Alvin Carnahan, David Leslie, Mitchell Irwin, Jeremy and Andrew Hine; great-niece, Noelle; great-nephews, Spencer and Keaton; several aunts and cousins, as well as special dogs Oreo and Sandi. Predeceased by her father Alvin; and her aunt Martha Gallan who lived with the family. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, November 25th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 26th, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the St. Andrew's Cemetery, McKinleyville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice. [Daily Gleaner]
