Pamela McLean (née Griffith) January 16, 1953 - November 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 52 years, passed away November 29, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of Charles McLean. Daughter of the late Willena Cote and Lawrence Griffith. "Special" daughter of Grace and William McIntosh, Perth. Daughter-in-law of the late Emmett and Gladys McLean. Sister of Howard and Phyllis Griffith, Marc and Donna Cote. "Special" sister of Charlotte Graham, Dennis Anderson and Linda Anderson. Sister-in-law of Ken and Bern McLean, Jim McLean and Julie Van Den Driessche, Pat Best and husband Al Manley, Len and Annette McLean, Ralph and Naomi McLean, Mary and Frank Sauve, Vicki McLean. Beloved aunt to 23 nieces and nephews 5 great nieces and nephews. Godmother to Shannon McLean and Michael Sauve. Pam devoted her life to the care of others for 20 years with the Roman Catholic Children's Aid Society and for 4 years with the Windsor Regional Hospital, most recently as a Social Worker/Discharge Planner. Pam was a very active volunteer in the community and in her St. Mary's Maidstone Parish Family. Pam was always surrounded and supported by a loving family and many dedicated friends. Special "adventurous" traveling mate to Theresa Harrington. In lieu of flowers, Pam wishes were to provide improved direct care and services for the many children in need and improved the availability of direct health care services to our community. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Thursday and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers Friday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mary's Church, Maidstone for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Dave Boutette as celebrant. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Maidstone. A tree will be planted in memory of Pamela McLean in the Marcotte Heritage Forest.
