James Manning Wilson November 13, 1919 - December 1, 2005 WHEATON SETTLEMENT, NB - James Manning Wilson, 86, of Wheaton Settlement passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Center on Thursday, December 1, 2005. He was born in Colombo, Ceylon (now Shri Lanka), the son of the late James Perry and Patricia Mary (nee Manning) Wilson. His wife Muriel (nee Brown) predeceased him on May 9, 2002. A former member of the R.C.M.P. for 5 and a half years, he was also Secretary Manager of the New Brunswick Chicken Marketing Board for several years, and later served as a commissionaire before retiring in 1984. He was a past Grand Principal of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of New Brunswick, a life member of the Botsford Royal Arch Chapter in Moncton, a member of the Cryoptic Rites of New Brunswick, and an Honorary member of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Maine. He was also a Grand Representative of the Grand Chapter of New Brunswick to the Grand Chapter of Alberta. As a member of the St. John's United Church of Moncton, he served 5 years as a steward, three of which were as a Chairman of a major renovation sub-committee. He is survived by his daughters, Eleanor (Reginald) Patterson and Eileen McCabe; sons, David, Stephen (Kathy); five grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; a sister, Stephanie Watts who lives in British Columbia; and a brother-in-law, Eugene Brown, resides in Grande Digue, New Brunswick. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rte 106 Salisbury (372-4800) with visiting, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
