
THOMAS, HAROLD WALLACE - Of Red Head Road, died peacefully at his residence on January 6, 2005. He was born in Saint John and was the son of the late Elmer and Ella (Mersereau) Thomas. He had worked as a Long Shoreman on the Saint John Waterfront for many years. He also served during WWII with the Canadian Armed Forces. He is survived by six sons: Wade, Vernon, David, Allen, Danny, and John and three daughters: Kathy, Karen and Brenda. He is also survived by five brothers James, Leonard, Robert, Paul, Hubert and one sister Jennie Simpson. Predeceased by brothers Vernon and Sam and sister Millie. Resting at A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A tribute to a veteran service will take place on Friday evening at 7:30pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday 11:00am in Cavanagh's Chapel, followed by cremation. Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.awcavanagh.com
