THOMASON, RUBY D. (BUNKER) Ruby (Bunker) Thomason of Tracy, NB passed away peacefully at her home (Legion Estates) surrounded by her Legion Estate family on Thursday, January 6, 2005, at the age of 89. Born in Tracy on July 2, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mamie (Dewitt) Bunker. She was predeceased by her husband, William G. (Bill) Thomason on June 11, 1983 and a son Donald Bunker on January 3, 1989 and brothers Oliver, Gordon, and Bert Bunker. She is survived by two daughters, Audrey Coy, Upper Gagetown and Erna Scribner (George), Fredericton; two sons, Basil (Pat) Tracy and Vernon (Marjorie), Calgary, AB; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church, and Gladstone Seniors. Visitation will be at the Tracy United Baptist Church Family Center on Monday, January 10 from 7-9 pm from Tuesday, January 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Tracy United Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 12, at 2:00 PM with Reverend James Harrison officiating. Interment will be in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Trent Logan, Douglas Coy, Chuck Thomason, Henrey Beckett, and great grandsons Michael Beckett, and Anthony Logan. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons Robert Bunker and Eddie Logan. Reception to follow in the Family Center. For those who wish memorial tributes to the White Rapids Manor Mini Bus or Tracy Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are in the care of McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 458-9170.
