P. Claudia Rocheleau (née Stanhope) July 16, 1948 - January 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) ROCHELEAU (Stanhope), P. Claudia - 56, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Halifax, she was the younger daughter of Edith Claudia (Landry), Halifax, and the late John George Stanhope. She was a member of St. Thomas More Church, and had been a Sunday school teacher prior to her illness. She was also a past member of Beta Sigma Phi. Claudia has worked as a dental receptionist for several Dartmouth practices. A loving mother, sister and friend, she leaves many wonderful memories behind. Claudia is survived by daughters, Aimee Janielle, Dartmouth and Danielle Marie, at home; sister, Geri (Bill) Marshall, Dartmouth; brother, John (Judy), Halifax; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, Dartmouth, Father Irek Bem officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Burial at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to QEII Foundation Titz N' Glitz Fund on the Front Line (Account No. T535). Many thanks to the doctors and staff at the Nova Scotia Cancer Centre and the VG Site, QEII, 8-A, especially 5-A for the wonderful care given while she was a patient.
