URQUHART, EDITH MAXWELL The death of Edith Maxwell Urquhart of Lincoln Road, Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, January 8th, 2005. Born in Fredericton, Edith was the daughter of the late Elijah Burpee Yerxa and Emma (Maxwell) Yerxa and the wife of the late Earle L. Urquhart. Edith was a lifetime resident of Fredericton, and a long time member of the Wilmot United Church. She attended the Smythe Street School, High School and Business College and was a Life Member of the New Brunswick Women's Institute. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Edith is survived by her two sons, E. Aubrey Urquhart of Quispamsis, NB, and David A. Urquhart of Fredericton and his wife Edna; four grandchildren, Lisa Dunnett (Paul) of Quispamsis, NB, Steven Urquhart (Lena) of Vernon, BC, Jock Urquhart of Alberta (Jennifer of Woodstock, NB,) and Shauna Stillman (Heathe) of Fredericton, NB; six great grandchildren, Jacob and Sadie Dunnett and Ilana, Trevor (Buffie Crawford), Kaitlyn, Eric and Karl Urquhart, also, nephews and nieces. Besides her husband and parents, Edith was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Alfred Yerxa. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 11th, at 2:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Bradley Little will officiate. Interment will take place in the family plot in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery at a later date in the springtime. No flowers by request, for those who wish memorial tributes made to the First Congregational Church Building Fund or SPCA would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you is extended to Dr. David Flower, doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, the Extra Mural Nurses, drivers of meals on wheels, Canadian Red Cross especially caregiver Eva Quigley, Rev.
