Rev. Margaret C. Outerbridge Rev. Margaret C. Outerbridge, 70, of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 5, 2005. Born in Hankow, China, daughter of the late Theodore and Dorothy (Watson) Outerbridge. Margaret was a retired minister for the United Church of Canada. She was ordained at the Atlantic School of Theology (Halifax, 1984), she served in Cobequid Pass Charge, NS; Dalhousie Charge, NB; Lakeburn and Dorchester Charge and supplied in various United Church Charges in the greater Moncton area. Born to missionary parents, Margaret attended school in Bermuda, China, England and India. Before she became a United Church minister Margaret was a registered nurse, a graduate of King Edward The Seventh Hospital School of Nursing and was former director of nursing at King Edward The Seventh Hospital in Bermuda. She also nursed in Montreal. Margaret will be sadly missed by her sister, Jean Outerbridge, Bermuda; brothers, Dr. John (Dicksie), Montreal, PQ, Timothy (Maryann), Halifax, NS; nieces, Susie, Sandra, Susan and Jessie; nephews, Craig, Stephen, Ted, Peter, David and Josh; several grand nieces and grand nephews and great grand-niece. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service at Lakeburn United Church, Dieppe, Saturday, January 15, 2005, 2pm, Rev. Hugh Farquhar, Rev. Owen Dawe officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment, in Bermuda. In Margaret's memory donations to the United Church Mission and Service Fund or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
