Mary Ellen (Molly) Bryenton, widow of the late harold Bryenton, of Renous, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, October 3, 2008, at the age of 76. Born in Center Napan, on August 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Christina (Stevenson) Dickson. Molly, along with her husband, harold, were well known throughout the province as monument sales representatives over the past number of decades. She is survived by two daughters, Naiomi Bryenton, of Fredericton and Valerie Bryenton, of Miramichi; two sons, Bradley Bryenton, of Quarryville and Jeffrey Bryenton, of Fredericton; three grandchildren, Justin, Melissa, Crystal; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; seven sisters, Eleanor Holstrum, Thelma Walker, Jean Bremner, Ethel Constable, Doris Gibson, Annie Mills, Nettie Feieger; five brothers, Harry, Carter, Howard, James, Andrew Dickson. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening. The funeral service was private for the family and was held at the funeral home chapel, on Monday afternoon, conducted by Serge Gauvin. The music for the service was provided by William Sweezey and the hymns were "Amazing Grace", "The Old Rugged Cross", and "How Great Thou Art". A special musical selection was played from CD, "Candle In The Wind", by Elton John. The pallbearers were Bradley Bryenton, Jeff Bryenton, Serge Gauvin, Joe MacIssac, Bruce Mountain and Marc Gallant. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi.
