Donald Metcalf Donald "Speedy" Metcalf, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, in his 60th year. Born in Walkerton, son of the late Harry and Stella (Acton) Metcalf. Donald enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Grey-Bruce Trappers Association. Survived by his wife Linda (Hargrave) Metcalf, sons Paul Metcalf of Hanover and Christopher (Jerrica) Metcalf of Port Elgin, grandsons Curtis and Bradley. Also survived by niece Lorraine Black of Chesley. Predeceased by his sister Gladys MacDonald. Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Saturday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
