James Briggs The sudden death of James Briggs 74 who passed away at the hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on November 8, 2008. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Alice and Joseph Briggs of Dalhousie, NB. He leaves to mourn his common-law wife Margaret Alexander and he was the stepfather of James and Brenda Alexander, two brothers John Briggs (Rolande Lefebvre) of Three Rivers, QC and Henry Briggs (Victoire Rivard) from St. Maurice, QC, four sisters Mary Briggs, Patsy Briggs, Geraldine Briggs (Eddy Lagacé) from Richardsville and Coleen Briggs Ferlatte from Dalhousie. Predeceased by two brothers Charlie Briggs and Edgar Briggs, three sisters Rita Briggs, Laura Briggs and Lucy Briggs. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
