BRANDON CARRIERE Carriere - Brandon Ernest, age 18, deeply loved son, brother and friend, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 24, 2004. He leaves behind his parents, Tod and Renee Carriere; twin brother and soul mate Shelby; grandparents Sylvia and Doug Moore; aunts Annette Chouinard and Nicole Chouinard; uncles Mickey (Colleen) Chouinard, Rick (Anna) Carriere and Wayne (Judy) Carriere; cousins Robbie and Mitch Chouinard, Robyn Pelletier, Robin (Heather) Carriere and Sabrina Carriere, Laura-Lee Gerrard and Lisa Kazer; special friends Jason Georgeoff, Jessica Parkman, Mike Rozon; and numerous other family and friends. Brandon is predeceased by Grandfather Paul Chouinard and grandparents Ernest and Edna Carriere. A member of Kirkland Lake’s Volunteer Fire Brigade, Brandon was to attend firefighting school in Timmins beginning in the fall. As co-captain of the KLCVI Red Devils soccer team, Brandon helped lead the team to the OFSAA 2004 playoffs in North Bay. Brandon’s spirit, selflessness and tireless enthusiasm will always be remembered by family and friends. Special thanks to Jason Georgeoff for his bravery. The family would also like to thank members of the Kirkland Lake Fire Department and Volunteers, Kenogami Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Ontario Provincial Police for all their efforts and support. Thanks to Josh Lachappelle for his tireless commitment. Visitation with Brandon’s family will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Monette & French Funeral Home, 450 Government Rd. West, Kirkland Lake. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from Holy Name Parish with father M.J. Scully officiating. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 87, Kirkland Lake
